Solid hardwood flooring is one of the easiest flooring surfaces to maintain. Occasional vacuuming or dry mopping is all that is needed to keep grit and dust away. Legacy Full Lifetime Structural Integrity Warranty
Structural Integrity means that Shnier’s brands of wood flooring will remain free from defective milling and grading as long as the original purchaser owns the house. Hardwood flooring will continue to expand and contract through normal heating and non-heating seasons. Properly installed solid hardwood floors may experience some minor separations between boards at different times during the year. If minor separations do occur, they are not covered by this warranty. The relative humidity of the home should be maintained at a constant 35% - 55% throughout the year.
Full Finish Wear Layer Warranty
The manufacturer warrants, to the original purchaser, that its prefinished surface layer will not wear through or separate from the wood for a full 25 years from date of purchase, when used under normal residential traffic conditions. This warranty covers the Legacy Collection and some other Shnier brands of solid wood flooring prefinished with a UV-cured urethane finish containing aluminum oxide.
